HPV is the
most common sexually transmitted infection in both women and men which
causes cervical cancer. According to World Health Organization (WHO),
cervical cancer ranks as the second most common cancer affecting women
worldwide with 500,000 new cases and 250,000 deaths each year. In the local setting, there is an estimated 12 filipino women die due to cervical cancer each day.
In honor of Cervical Awareness Month, the Department of Health Philippines will give a
FREE screening for the whole month of may for women ages 21 and up.
Every WEDNESDAY for METRO MANILA
Every FRIDAY for LUZON
EVERY TUESDAY for VISAYAS
Every THURSDAY for MINDANAO
